NASA is bracing itself for some really hot stuff! Yes, the space organisation is finally putting the brand new James Webb Space Telescope to work.

Using the visionary telescope, NASA will observe the conditions on a planet situated 50 light-years away. The planet, called 55 Cancri e, is so close to its Sun-like star that conditions on it could resemble hell from Dante's Inferno.
According to Webb's website, the planet orbits its central star at just 0.015 astronomical units, making it extremely close and hot. During daytime, the temperatures on this planet can touch 2,400 degree Celsius.
